The work of the Palestinian artist Sliman Mansour is presented against the backdrop of the difficulty of life in Palestine. There are no museums, no galleries and no markets for artwork, The only way to show his art and to communicate with other artists is via the internet. Mansour paints for a life in peace, but also for the Palestinian cause. His pictures are influenced by the daily struggle of surviving. This is an inspired examination of one artist by another artist. The author, Faten Nastas Mitwas, art coordinator at the Art Museum of Bethlehem and is a widely acknowledged artist herself.
